TractionKiting.co.uk started life known as OGDW.net, the site aimed to tell people about Tiree and how good this location was for kiting. We quickly realised that Tiree was not the only place that needed promoting, the whole of Scotland was the perfect play ground for traction kiters.
We did some research to find out if there was anything on the internet which provided Scotland's kiters a central place to get local information and there wasn't! There were local club websites but they only focussed on their local area, our aim was to bring Scotland together so that we could all share our experiences, photos and local information.
Starting with a forum and gallery we then created a location map,reviews section and general information section.
The location map is constantly growing as we travel around Scotland and find more kiting locations to add to it.
Over time, Judith and Owain noticed more and more people were asking them if they sold kites and accessories. They fly and trust the PKD and Ozone kites and so started selling these brands, over time they have expanded their range to include Trampa land boards, Dakine Clothing and Kiting accessories and SeaSpecs.

The count down has begun!
TK Tiree Trip 3 is only 4 weeks away! Approx 30 people will be joining the TK team in Tiree this year for 2 weeks of kiting on one of the best places in Britian for kiting!
