We stayed here the night before we sailed from Oban to Colonsay.
The most important factor in our decision to stay here was that they allowed Tomcat in to the room, the request was greeted with a little surprise but when told how well behaved he is then they were happy to agree. Our room faced the car park at the back, it would have been lovely to see the view down Loch Etive but we did get a window table at dinner and again in the morning at breakfast.
The room was lovely, very clean and cosy.
Lots of little extras like bottles of water, conditioner in the shower and lots of local information along with the evening’s menu.
Staff were very helpful and efficient.
The whole hotel was clean and comfortable.
There was an excellent breakfast choice which was cooked to order.
£44 per person B+B may be a little expensive but I would highly recommend The Oyster Inn.
