This is the bar in the Oyster Inn, Connel.
As well as a full menu there was a very temping specials board.
Fresh fish features prominently on the menu and Owain had the local caught langoustines for a starter and a homemade steak and ale pie to follow.
I had the home made pate with onion marmalade followed by bangers and mash with onion gravy
All courses were delicious, well presented and generous portions.
Service was quick and efficient and the atmosphere in the bar was warm and inviting.
We had a fabulous view out to the Loch and were treated to a lovely sunset.
Total bill including 2 pints of Deuchers, a Bacardi and coke and a Drambuie coffee came to £40
Excellent value for money, good food and a lovely setting.
