Gott Bay is Tiree's longest beaches, approx 2.5 miles from end to end. It has a horseshoe shape to it which makes it ideal for a wide range of wind directions.
The beach is usually hard packed flat sand which makes it ideal for all kite sports and even when the tide is out, the water is shallow for quite some distance.
With clear blue water and again the shape of the bay, it makes it ideal for learning to kite surf.
