How did you get in to kiting? :
When living on Tiree I used to see the kite surfers in the water and thought it looked like fun but I didn’t like the thought of getting cold and wet, so I looked around to find out if there was a land based version. That’s when I bought my first kite and a buggy and I haven't looked back since!
Favourite kiting location :
It has got to be the Island of Tiree closely followed by St Andrews. Having family still living on the island makes it perfect, go back to visit my family and buggy on Gott Bay from sunrise to sunset. Gott bay has 2.5 miles of solid sand which is right on my mum's door step, what more could you ask for!
What trick are you currently trying to master? :
I am currently trying to master two wheels kite side and I am looking in to the possibilities of two wheels backwards!
Other comments :
Fly safe, start with a small kite and work your way up, don't start with a large kite just because everyone else has one and remember, Jaffa Cakes make the world go round!
