Second Kite Purchase 2 Years, 7 Months ago
Hi Guy's;

Need some advice on the purchase of a new kite.

After a year or so with 1 kite (2m pkd buster2), I think it is now time to purchase a larger kite, but what kite and size ?...

I was thinking of just going up the PKD Buster II or III range to the 4m kite, but is this a good move or not ?....

I would welcome advice on size and type of kite for a second kite for the lower wind days, within a realistic price range.

Look forward to the advice.

I would say the 4m Buster would sit real nice in there, the 2m and 4m is what I started kiting with and since then the new busters have come on leaps and bounds.

If you're happy with the 2m and it's for general traction kiting or just static flying then the 4m will be fine.

Probably plenty of deals on a Buster II at the moment.

I flew a 2m when I started ... great fun in high winds Lots of the folks down our spot started with Busters and no one has a bad word to say about them. Good build, good VFM ...... the handles are like 'Marmite' (you either love or hate them) ........... not a great fan of the lines (purely because mine broke and I prefer Ozone).

Lots of Buster II reviews here ..... http://www.racekites.com/reviews/listReviews.asp?companyName=PKD

Happy hunting.

Ozone Flow's are nice, fly very predictably, smooth increase in power as you bring it down the window, not a bad price either. and they look quite pretty too
