About James... 4 Years ago
Hey all. Most of you will all ready know me. But for those who dont I'm James .

Live on the west coast, have been flying kites for about seven years now. The first two years or so were delta kites, and only occasionally at the beach. One day I bumped into a 'proper kiter' and he kindly let me have a wee go of his kite.. Which i think was a 3m buster (cant really remember now ). A little browsing online brought me into contact with Tykes Kites, what was then a nice little kite shop In ardeer, near Irvine.

Mike sold me a 1.4m Buster and that was me hooked. About 6 month later Santa brought me a flexi buggy and a 4m buster. . At this time the Irvine Flyers were still a well formed and quite busy club and I was to be found flying kites Saturday And Sunday most weeks (weather permitting). As time went on the club became formal, and then kinda fell by the wayside, mainly due to kiters giving up for their own reasons. Through the race series I bumped into Owain and Judith, and the TK website. Started flying more on the east coast when i could get over.

About half way through last year, I was invited to join the TK team and gratefully accepted. It was (ironically) about the same time as this I started university - and a weekend job for money to goto uni.

This (as far as kiting is concerned) is a FATAL combination. It leaves little or no time to fly kites and I am currently in DIRE need of a good few hours on the beach, with some nice wind, and nothing to pull me away from the beach....

Thats me up untill now P .

Edit: Now that i know not just anyone can read.....

Me when I'm not kiting....

I work in asda P .

So thats me! The kiting side and the rest P )
