We are looking for some rules that buggiers should abide too when buggying with others.

Please place some "rules of the road" in this thread and we will use them in the new section.

We will start it with : 1) When buggying towards someone else, always turn to your right.

Admin.

Just thought of this one, don't know if it's right, but makes sense to me:

3) Always give boarders right of way

4) Before setting out on a session, check your buggy for loose bolts and loose wheel bearings. If required replace before setting out.

Not specifically correct, it is intended for when you are on a collision course with an on coming buggy, both pilots should turn towards there right. If for example you are buggying towards each other with say 10 ft between your respective flight paths then there is no problem with the usual 'upwind pilot raise the kite and down wind pilot lower theirs'. The turn right rule is often missinterpreted and can actually cause accidents as on occassions it causes one pilot who missinterprets the 'rule' to turn across the path of another pilot!

'towards someone else' -- 'collision course'

A narrow line there I think, see your point though.

If you need to attend to your kite/lines/bridle, dont leave your handles hanging over foot pegs/wheels.. turn the buggy upside down and use the weight of the front head set to secure your handles..

Unless you are a smarty pants and have your ground stake with you!!
