TOPIC: Kiteboarding at duloch

Kiteboarding at duloch 1 Year, 6 Months ago
Just had a wee blast of a sesh at duloch park with the kite board, still persevering with mastering riding the board but after today think what one of the guys told me on here about being slightly overpowered so you can just lean back and get pulled along steady sounds good. Is there anyone else that goes up to duloch for a landboard sesh???

Up at Duloch quite often (it only 5 min from the house ), but it for buggy & static flying.
The 5 min from the house is the best bit about the place, its gusty most of the time when the wind blows from the west or the east which are the prevaling winds, if the wind from the north or south its not so bad.
Will keep an eye out for you when I'm up there flying.

Yeah was westerly ish today and pretty gusty, prob not the best for gettingvto grips on the board! Thought it would be a lot more steady up there as it sits quite high and exposed! Do you find there's enough room for a quick blast on the buggy up there? Ma mates got a buggy and is always looking for somewhere close to Kirkcaldy to get it out.

There is always the beach at Kirkcaldy promonade, I know Mr Buggy has taken it on a couple of times, then there is Pettycur bay further down the coast.

Tuesday night was a bit on/off with the wind.
Wednesday night didn't feel as strong wind but it was so much more constant (slightly different direction ?) so had a good night there.
